About Pia

Pia is the intelligent PA for Indian pharmacies. It drafts receipts, reorders, expiry alerts and the day's full hisaab in Hinglish or English; the owner approves. Pia is live on Android and iOS, and is built in Jabalpur by Pia Prescience Private Limited.

The role

You are responsible for a shop from the first conversation through to the point where it is running on Pia day to day.

Sales

  • Qualify enquiries that reach us, and approach pharmacies directly in your territory.
  • Demonstrate Pia at the counter, on a phone, to the owner.
  • Answer the owner's questions on data safety, staff access, and what the software does and does not decide on its own.
  • Close the sale and agree a date to go live.

Installation

  • Export the shop's existing stock, batch and pricing data from its current software, and reconcile it with the owner product by product before it is published.
  • Set the shop up: user roles and permissions, staff devices, Bluetooth printer, GST details.
  • Train the counter staff, not only the owner, in Hindi, on their own phones.
  • Stay on site until live bills are printing correctly.

Support

  • Be the first point of contact for the shops you have onboarded.
  • Resolve issues in the field: devices, printers, connectivity, data corrections.
  • Escalate what you cannot resolve to the engineering team as a clear, reproducible report.

What we are looking for

  • Fluent, confident Hindi. English sufficient to write a clear report.
  • Working comfort with spreadsheets — able to read a stock export and identify the rows that are wrong.
  • Practical troubleshooting across Android and iOS devices, Bluetooth printers, and poor connectivity.
  • A demonstrated ability to sell to small business owners.
  • Own two-wheeler and a valid driving licence.
  • Sound judgement handling confidential commercial data.

Writing code is not a requirement.

Backgrounds that fit: field sales in pharmaceutical distribution; implementation or support for billing, POS or ERP software; engineering and computer science graduates who want customer-facing work.
